Terry Angus Comes to London

The Elgin Middlesex Oxford Local Training Board in partnership with
The Ability First Coalition, Investing in Children, Amherst Shores
Production and co-sponsorship from A London, London Convention
Centre and the Public Library brought Terry Angus, Canadian Puppeteer
to London to share his story of courage and triumph, overcoming his
disability, working with Jim Henson. 

     
 

 

 

Terry was well received, by those who attended. 
This event was to celebrate SLOME’s 10th Anniversary! 
A Decade of Career Exploration. 
 


The Pastry Challenge Winners!
Strathroy District Collegiate Institute had the recipe for success.
Lead by Emily Snively

All four schools involved created tantalizing pastries which made it a tough choice
for the 75 judges that attended on the Challenge on November 15th.

Even the Chefs from Spencer Leadership Center participated in the judging.

Participating teams: Arthur Voaden Secondary School, St. Thomas; St. Mary’s, Woodstock; Strathroy District Collegiate Institute, Strathroy; Thames Secondary School from London.
